Brandon Area Toy Project

Building Community One Step at a Time

The Brandon Area Toy Project is a 100% volunteer organization dedicated to improving opportunities for kids in Brandon, Leicester, Whiting, Goshen and Sudbury Vermont. Through events, activities and support from our Coat project, Backpack Giveaway, holiday gifts and more, we bring people from all economic backgrounds together to build a community.

Working Together for a better Tomorrow!

Unity over privilege. The Brandon Area Toy Project focuses on providing opportunities for kids in a 5 town area. Far beyond the beginnings of just giving toys, the Project now supports other organizations as well as working with the schools to provide goods as well as enrichment.

What Do You Want to Do?

Community Engagement is our priority!

The Toy Project works with the Brandon Free Public Library by funding passes to Green Mountain Storyville, VINS and Wonderfeet so that families can participate in a wide range of enrichment activities.
Working with Brandon Rec, new activities are booming! The Fishing Derby, Brandon Carnival, Spooksville, the ChristmasParty, Karaoke Parties- we keep people busy!
Plus, our Backpack Giveaway in Aug is always a great event! And thanks to OMYA, we are able to provide between 75 and 100 winter coats to kids in need each winter.

Soon to come- a repurposed Play Place at Estabrook Field! Wow!

Fun Within Our Community!

Our annual Spooksville in Brandon! We have a trick or trunk at Estabrook field, bringing people from all walks of life to put up a display and hand out candy or books, kids running around, music playing, free supper and fun!

We Work Together!

Each time we hold an event; a Fishing Derby, Harvest Fest, Winter Carnival, Brandon Carnival and more, we bring in members of our emergency services teams to educate and display the vehicles! Kids become familiar with the rescue workers, so if a situation arises, they are comfortable going to "the helpers"
