Fun And Education for everyone!
The Brandon Area Toy Project began as a charity program aimed at providing toys at for low income children.
As we've grown and developed, we focus on growing community and creating events for everyone, regardless of income and age, so that people in the Brandon Vt area have opportunities to socialize, move away from video and television screens and interact with different activities. From Wildlife presentations, to paint and cookies (we swap cookies instead of drinking wine!) to the popular Spooksville, there is always something going on, thanks to our collaborative efforts with other groups like Brandon Rec, The Brandon Free Public Library and the PTO as well as the American Legion!
The Play Place!
Our Biggest Project Ever! Donated by Coughlins McDonalds of New England, we are repurposing a 60'x28' play structure at Estabrook Park in Brandon to provide outside play opportunities for kids in the area.
As well as keeping roughly 51cu yds of debris out of the landfill, this will create a unique draw to our town and allow kids living in places without outdoor facilities a location to just go and play. Onsite picnic tables encourage families to form cohesive units with dinner together.
